Simple Graph Generator: Draw Your Data With Ease

Enter data points (x,y format, one per line):

How the axes get scaled

This is a plain line-and-point plotter drawn on an HTML5 canvas — it doesn't fit a trendline or run any statistics, it just connects your points in the order you enter them. Before drawing, it scans all your x and y values for the minimum and maximum, then pads that range by 10% on each side so points near the edges aren't drawn flush against the axis. With the default sample data (0,0 / 1,2 / 2,3 / 3,5 / 4,4 / 5,7), the raw x-range is 0 to 5 and y-range is 0 to 7; after the 10% padding the canvas actually maps roughly -0.5 to 5.5 on the x-axis and -0.7 to 7.7 on the y-axis, which is why the outermost points don't sit exactly on the gridlines.

Reading order matters

Because the tool connects points in the order they appear in the textarea — not sorted by x-value — entering data out of x-order will draw crossing or zig-zagging lines instead of a clean curve. If your data isn't naturally ordered (for example, if it came from a spreadsheet sorted by date rather than by the x-value you're plotting), sort it by x first.

What counts as valid input

Each line must contain exactly one comma separating two numbers, like 3,5. Lines that don't parse to exactly two numeric values — blank lines, extra commas, or non-numeric text — are silently skipped rather than causing an error, and the graph won't draw at all until at least two valid points remain.

Exporting

"Export as PNG" reads the canvas pixels directly and triggers a download named after your graph title (with non-alphanumeric characters stripped), so the exported image is a literal snapshot of what's rendered, not a re-generated file — changes made after export aren't reflected in a file you already downloaded.
